What’s in it for you?
The Iron Castings team is responsible for setting the Segment strategies and managing the global supplier base for casted and machined parts. You will lead this diverse team of 7 dedicated purchasers whom balance considerations of Technology, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Sustainability in their strategies and decisions. This dynamic role involves engaging collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, offering a stimulating and rewarding environment. Reporting to the Head of Commodity Powertrain, you'll be an integral part of the Commodity Powertrain management team.

What you’ll do?
As a group manager, you'll focus on developing, supporting, and coaching your team to achieve both collective targets and personal goals, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. By understanding our customer needs and continuously adapt way of working, you'll drive continuous improvement, build a strong and diverse team as well as strive for optimal results.
You will also be part of the Powertrain management team and help develop the department to meet the future needs of the Automotive industry, with high focus on Sustainability.

This position, the team and the management team is located in Södertälje, with possibilities for a hybrid work set up (office/ home). The role involves regular travel, as our internal and external counterparts are located worldwide.

Who are we looking for?
We seek a manager with focus on building a strong team-spirit, with focus on coaching individuals to a high degree of own initiative and accountability.
You are organized, flexible, like to take initiatives and are able to handle multiple activities in parallel. Excellent communication skills, especially in English is a must. Your integrity and accountability are unquestionable.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive commercial experience, either with over five years of leadership in commercial management roles or a proven track record from automotive purchasing with demonstrated leadership capabilities. A university degree in relevant field is preferred.
