Job Description 

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

We are now looking for a General Manager for H&M Beauty who will lead the continued development of our global Beauty offering and inspire a strong team to deliver on our ambitious vision. In this role, you will drive the evolution and growth of the business, shaping strategies that strengthen customer relevance, sales and profitability across all channels and markets, both short and long term. You will also hold responsibility for creating and optimizing a compelling customer offer, including private label and external brands, and for ensuring that Beauty’s role within H&M delivers both commercial value and a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the global Beauty agenda Drive the overall business strategy, performance, creative direction and operational excellence that enable the Beauty business within H&M. Develop and secure an inspiring, fashion-connected customer offer and experience that boosts sales and profitability across all channels and markets.
• Build and empower a high-performing team: Create a fast-moving, collaborative, inclusive and learning-oriented organization. Inspire teams to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, fostering an environment where people are autonomous, motivated, and energized by our growth journey.
• Be a culture carrier: Lead by example and embody H&M’s values and leadership expectations in everything you do. Demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, accountability, and a willingness to challenge and improve.

Experience and Knowledge:

You are a self-driven leader with a global mindset and a genuine passion for beauty, brands, and business growth. You combine strong vision and strategic clarity with the ability to build teams that execute with speed, simplicity, and impact. Your communication is inspiring and straightforward, and you thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You are always looking for smarter, more customer-centric ways of working, and you see the full business picture.

In addition to matching the personal profile, we also seek the following qualifications:

• an academic degree in a relevant field
• extensive experience and a true passion for the Beauty industry
• extensive experience from building, leading, and growing multinational businesses – developing markets and new business segments
• Strong stakeholder management skills create outcomes through relationships both internal and external.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build business partnerships with external partners.
• a solid commercial focus – sales-driven with a curious mindset, always focused on the best and most cost-efficient solution
• excellent communication and presentation skills including written and verbal skills in English
