Are you a dynamic editorial leader ready to set the pace for impactful, engaging content? Come lead our editorial vision as Managing Editor. We are seeking an experienced Managing Editor to join us at Stora Enso, where you will take charge of our overall content and social media strategy and lead the editorial planning and processes for all group-level communications channels. As Managing Editor, you will: 

  • Lead the development and execution of Stora Enso’s content strategy, ensuring alignment with our purpose and brand values. 

  • Lead the establishment and execution of Stora Enso’s social media strategy in close collaboration with our Brand and Digital Engagement team.  

  • Oversee all organic content published across our main group-level communications channels, including WeShare main news, website stories, social media organic content, and all-employee video content. 

  • Plan, commission, and manage high-quality content creation that resonates with internal and external audiences. 

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency of editorial tone, style, and messaging, while ensuring timely and impactful content delivery. 

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators and content metrics, using data-driven insights to inform content strategy and continually optimise outcomes. 

Who are we looking for 

You are an experienced editorial professional with a solid background in managing content strategies and editorial workflows within international organisations. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills are complemented by a keen eye for compelling storytelling and meticulous attention to detail. You understand what kind of content works with our different stakeholders, and you have deep knowledge of communication consumption habits.    

You are highly skilled at overseeing content across a variety of platforms, including news, web, social media, and video, and you have demonstrated a proven ability to foster both innovation and collaboration within editorial teams.

Your data-driven approach enables you to effectively monitor content performance and translate insights into actionable improvements. With a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the capability to juggle multiple priorities, you are well-equipped to thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
