We’re now looking for a driven IT Team Manager to lead one of our highly skilled agile development teams within our Payments & Reporting area.


About the role

You will be the Manager of one of our agile development teams within the Analytics and Reporting department. The team focuses on development and maintenance of a number of applications catering for critical data and reporting services to both internal and external consumers and clients. The team is also a central part in the deliveries to SEB’s most important initiatives, Payments Roadmap and NCL Reporting. As such, you will in your role as Team Manager be an important part in executing SEB’s strategy to future proof our platform.


As a Team Manager for the team, you will lead a team of highly skilled developers working with both on prem and cloud solutions (such as Google Cloud Platform). You will be responsible for coaching and supporting the team and making sure that the team and its members have clearly defined goals and a common purpose. You are not afraid of challenging and encouraging them to try new things, new ways of working and to learn new skills. You like to work with continuous improvement and see reflection and feedback as a vital part to both personal and team success. In this role you will also interact with other team managers and important stakeholders cross domain, stressing the importance of your strong networking and communication skills.


Your tasks include:

• To lead, develop and maintain a high performing team. You do that by defining and setting targets, building confidence, empowering and supporting the team and its team members on a daily basis.

• You take an active part in our management team and key initiatives, driving the agenda on both operational, tactical and strategic level.

• You coach, drive change, and improve the way-of-working in the team and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to ensure efficient ways of working, high quality releases and well tested solutions.


To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams or project organizations.

• You’re a passionate, driven and committed leader with a proven ability to lead, inspire and develop teams or project organizations.

• You have a coaching mindset with a focus on growth, collaboration, and empowerment.

• Experience with leading product and Tech (IT) development preferably within an agile context.

• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with ITIL and DevSecOps processes.
