Assignment Leader for Bus Customized Solution

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

As an Assignment Leader within Bus Customized Solution, you will play a vital role in the development of the next generation of Scania buses. Within our operations, we develop customer-specific variants and designs of bus chassis to meet unique customer requirements, new market demands, and product segments.

Scania Bus Development is in a very exciting time with increasingly tough climate goals, increased global urbanization, and a technology shift towards electrified, connected, and autonomous vehicles. To meet these challenges, the bus as an environmentally friendly, collective way of transport will play an increasingly important role.

Your responsibilities

- To be the link between the bus customized solution value creation team (VCT) and relevant line functions as well as cross-functional teams. Your main tasks include establishing and anchoring schedules/delivery plans, leading and following up on our commitments, and promoting good cooperation with our customers.
- Work within both the special order (S-order) and design online (DOL) processes
- Inspire your team members and keep all involved parties informed; from colleagues to the distributors/customers awaiting their unique bus.
- Enhance our development by sharing your valuable insights and expertise, fostering collaboration with your colleagues, based on our principles of continuous improvement.

Requirements

You have a university degree in engineering or equivalent. Previous experience in assignment/project management or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory. The most important thing is that you have an interest and aptitude for leadership. If you don’t meet the requirements please let us know why you think you could make a good fit for this position.
