What we do at Detectify

Detectify was born from the simple idea that the internet is broken. Our founders are top-ranked ethical hackers that have helped some of the world’s biggest tech companies - such as Spotify, King and Trello - improve their web security. The knowledge they accumulated from ethical hacking turned into a security tool that automates hacker attacks and helps customers stay on top of threats.

The Talent Team’s Mission

We are a cross-functional team of four that works around the clock to identify, attract and onboard the best talent to win the battle against security threats.

We have big plans for the next years, and we're building up our Recruiting team to drive our growth. You will work with top talent within the Security industry, in an environment committed to team effort, results and learning.

Role and Responsibilities

Our very first dedicated Talent Acquisition Lead will own the build-out of a recruiting team to support the major scale-up of our Tech and Business teams. In this role, you will lead, guide and coach a team of recruiters to deliver the needs of the business while growing the core of organizational capability, implementing tools for greater efficiency/effectiveness.

In order to accomplish this, you will:

  • Be at the forefront of Detectify’s ambitious and fast growth, taking deep accountability for building and coaching high performing teams that thrive; you're not just filling seats, you're building an awesome culture
  • Develop and implement workforce planning and prioritization
  • Create, organize, and implement strategic recruitment plans, and support initiatives to build the overall talent acquisition process and quality of hire
  • Given business demand and team capacity, you will also support full life-cycle recruiting for select positions
  • Define and follow up the Employer branding strategy.
  • Take our Employer Banding efforts to the next level collaborating with marketing to design and roll out the talent attraction campaigns and employer branding strategy. This involves:
  • Becoming a Detectify ambassador in all pertinent social media platforms and strategically increase Detectify’s social media relevance and footprint
  • Developing and following up short, mid and long term quality attraction strategies
  • Managing the attraction process and life cycle including recruitment fairs, functional conferences, road trips, ads, etc.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the People team to ensure that the candidate experience is positive, unique to Detectify, seamless, and translates into a long-term retention plan

With your passion for people and performance optimization, you will navigate the complex issues of a high-growth, mid-stage start-up, and champion a people-focused and solutions-oriented approach to ensure success across our teams.

We require that you…

  • Have demonstrated success as an in-house talent team leader for +2 years
  • Have 4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in both agency and in-house role
  • Have previous experience implementing workforce planning and recruiting programs
  • Possess strong analytical skills and ability to work with metrics, numbers, and trends
  • Are adept at influencing others through strong relationships, expertise, and data
  • Have the ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders
  • Are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take the initiative and build strong, productive relationships
