Introduction

Due to expansion, IMCD is now looking to recruit an additional Product Manager with special focus on the nutraceutical market to join the Nordic Pharma team. The aim of this position will be to build sustainable and productive customer relationships with existing and new clients, with a focus on sales of active ingredients and excipients for nutraceuticals. About the job

Your new challenge

You will work in close cooperation with the Nordic team and other partners and report directly to the Business Unit Manager. The ideal candidate will be located close to the office in Malmö but we will also consider candidates working from a home office. Your customers will be based in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Maintain and expand business in the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Nutraceutical market
  • Build sustainable and productive long-term customer relationships, as well as developing existing ones
  • Work closely with colleagues from the sales, product management and technical departments, as well as the principals, to successfully create business opportunities and often tailored concepts specific to the customer´s need
  • Actively ensure that the products meet client’s requirements / expectations and provide support on product development and other technical issues
  • Ensure company goals are achieved and be responsible for customer proposals and contracts
  • Visit existing and new customers on a regular basis

Your profile

We expect you to have a strong personal drive and that you are self-disciplined and highly motivated for the role. You also need to have a high level of business acumen and to be a result driven with a “can-do-attitude”. Your communication skills are excellent, both written and spoken. Additionally, you need good time management skills.

Preferably, you have a University Degree related to Pharma or Chemicals. You need to have sales experience and ideally a proven sales record within the Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical industry. Possibly background within food industry with focus on supplements. Expertise in Pharmaceutical and/or Nutraceutical ingredients is of course critical to be successful in this role. We would also like you to have knowledge in chemical processes or in medical production in order to give excellent support to clients.

Yours language skills; Swedish (Danish) and English are essential and of course a full clean driving license and availability to travel up to 50% of your time is required.
