Our simulation team is growing and we are now looking for a Structural Analyst to join us at our global Project Support Organization located in Hillerstorp. Being part of the simulation team is an exciting opportunity to work with world class products in a highly skilled environment. You will be able to follow and have an overview of the entire product´s development process, meaning that you will also have the chance to work with different analysis and disciplines, such as crash test and static analysis.

An important part of the role is to initially work in close relation with Design Engineers and interact on how things are expected to be done before starting the simulations.
All departments in the Project Support Organization collaborate and work closely, so your interaction with the test department will be very important being expected to provide recommendations based on your work and expertise. Knowledge of the products is a critical part as you need to understand what the products will be exposed to during test phases.
Your Profile
We expect you to be a dedicated team player with a humble attitude. Our department and Thule Groups as an organization is characterized by openness and there is a great passion for our products. You need to develop a high level of understanding for our products and work with a proactive mindset towards the projects. The focus is always to deliver and it is required of you to be a structured and forward thinking person who enjoys taking initiatives. Your communication skills and cooperation with others need to be good as your recipients will be entire project teams and colleagues from different departments.
Preferably, you have a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant work experience. It is an additional merit if you have knowledge and/or experience of LS-DYNA, ANSA, MetaPost and/or LS-PrePost. Experience from the automotive industry is also a plus. Your English is fluent both spoken and written and if your Swedish is not fluent, then there must be a willingness to learn it.
