Operation Application Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Operations is a team of 22 qualified specialists working with daily operations and infrastructure development as well as supporting processes.

Operation Application Technician is a brand new role in the organization, with focus on the supporting functionality that often lands in between operations systems and end user functionality applications. We are offering a unique opportunity to work with modern technology and make an impact on how this new area should look and work in the future together with driven and competent colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily operation of proxy solutions based on Linux platform, such as Nginx
• Daily operation of high-performance / high-availability production environments and development environments
• Optimization, configuration and analysis of existing production infrastructure
• Build and design new production infrastructure for an organization's needs
• Troubleshoot complex problems in the above mentioned fields of technology
• Carry out commissioning of new releases in collaboration with our development team
• Backup and Recovery

REQUIREMENT

• You have very good experience in Microsoft server operating systems
• You have very good experience in Linux (Ubuntu Server)
• You have very good experience in Proxy solutions such as Nginx and Squid
• You have very good experience in Microsoft IIS and Apache
• You have good experience VMware's virtualization technologies vRealize Suite
• You have good experience in installing and configuring WordPress and RabbitMQ
• You have good experience in automation and configuration tools such as Puppet
• You have good experience in monitoring systems such as Orion and Splunk

• You have previous experience in critical 24/7 enterprise environment operation
• You are a MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) in Server & Active Directory
• You have good experience with Microsoft Cluster / SQL Cluster Configuration
• You have good experience with VMware vSphere
