The Scania Powertrain Performance and Analysis group is looking for a new member to broaden our team. One of the most important tasks we have in front of us is to investigate different future powertrain concepts where electrification and traditional technologies will join in a lot of potential scenarios.
A key task for our team is to understand, evaluate and balance different properties of the complete powertrain, considering both software control and hardware aspects. The group's mission is to point the way for Scania to develop the best powertrains in terms of, powertrain performance, driveability and energy efficiency.
Your tasks
We are currently looking for a communicative person with great drive and interest in technical development who can see the big picture:
Your profile
You are an engineer who is motivated by learning new things and solving problems. You are a curious person who likes to share his findings and knowledge with others. You hold a MSc degree in mechanical, electrical, physics or mechatronics engineering. You are experienced in analysing physical or mechatronic systems and software development. Special competences in transmissions, hybrid technology, engines or other powertrain components it is an asset. It is a great asses if you have IPR experiences. You are capable of expressing yourself fluently in English. A driving licenses for heavy vehicles is important. Knowledge in control engineering, embedded system and MathWorks software is a great asset.
