Your future job

As a Systems Architect, your work is an important element in the further development of Scania’s electrical system. The focus is in the future, to realize capabilities, tools and methods for diagnostics and uptime by developing system design and selecting technical solutions.

Your workday will among other things contain:

  • concept development
  • diagnostics communication
  • service predictability
  • cross functional projects at Scania and the VW-goup

If you thrive in cross-functional work environments, you will thrive here! The diagnostics architecture team is a small team with a great mix of background and knowledge with a combined excellent view on embedded systems, vehicle functions and diagnostics. We work together and with a wide development organization to build sustainable and balanced solutions.

To facilitate the big picture view needed in this job, you will be involved in all project phases, all the way from early concept development to production launch. You will work in an agile framework where your personal skills make a difference.

Your profile

You have a college or university degree in engineering and at least three years’ professional experience within embedded systems. Architecture experience in development of embedded systems is an advantage, and so is experience in vehicle diagnostics. You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English. If you speak German it is an advantage.

With your curiosity you will enjoy being part of a team that shares experiences as well as challenges. You will work closely together in the team to achieve the common goal – to meet and exceed our customers’ demands. You are driven, cooperative and take responsibility to systematically develop the architecture of the system with a holistic view.

We offer

In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer other benefits, such as a company car, performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania JobExpress.
