The Position

In this role you will be responsible for user-centered design research, usability testing, and contribute to setting up AB testing for our product area Customer Segments, where you will work closely with three product teams: Sports, Kids and Market expansion. You will be leading integration of insights from user insight, analytics and design teams into the product development process. You will be a driving force in the integration of user insights into the product development process while closely with data analytics and design teams. You will collaborate tightly within cross-functional teams and partner with the rest of the product organisation to ensure a company wide consistency and delightful experience for our customers now and in the future. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:  

  • Inspire our cross functional teams to do a bit of their own research and improve the way of working within user research and usability testing, AB testing. 
  • Working with both data driven insights and user insights to help drive design  decisions. Scale the research and data capabilities in the teams.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research. 
  • Working within a highly collaborative team to deliver a world-class product experience. 
  • Work with user journey analysis, usability studies, user interviews, behavioral analysis and A/B testing.  
  • Facilitate user research for multiple platforms, such as iOS, Android, web and big screens. 
  • Work closely with 16 other designers from the tech/product department, and collaborate with data analysts. 
  • Strengthening our speed and ability to meet the needs of our customers. 
What we are looking for   

We are looking for  a UX Researcher who is passionate about pushing the boundaries, has a solid experience of working and/or combining qualitative and quantitative data. You are passionate about customers’ needs and have a strong insight in the beginning of the design process and value of testing. We believe you are a great communicator and wants to be a part of a fun team working to transform the streaming experience for our customers. You enjoy mixing qualitative and quantitative insights, and engaging both users and companies with relevant and actionable insights. 

Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in the initial and iterative process of product development.  
  • Experience working with both data driven insights and user insights to help drive design and business decisions. 
  • Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative methods.  
  • Experience in advocating for users within the organization. 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, developers and other stakeholders. 
  • Experience with researching for products on multiple platforms, good understanding of best practices and UX guidelines (such as iOS, Android, web and big screens). 
  • Experience in trend forecasting or market research is a plus.  
  • A good attitude, sense of humor, and ability to work humbly with others in a creative team environment. 
  • Experience from working with research and discovery in an iterative way where insights are generated continuously and not just upfront.
