User Centric Support Specialist incl Executive Board Support and Critical Queue

About the job

You are a supportive person by nature with a passion and understanding for end users. Helping- and supporting users with end user IT-services related issues is something you find both inspiring and rewarding. You have a broad technical knowledge, preferably from the areas of end user equipment and services, a strong user centric mindset and are fascinated by how technology can unlock people’s productivity.

As an Executive Board Support Technician you support Scanias’ top management and their assistants through field-support and distance support. This work covers assignments, incidents, requests and various order support connected to most End-User Productivity services and many Scania IT services. In this role you are part of a small team that Executive Management can contact directly during Swedish office hours 08.00-16.45. Swedish national holidays are excluded. You perform the Executive Board Support role in combination with one or multiple support flows within User Centrics’ level 2 scope including the Critical Queue. You will in the other parts of the role support all types of Scania users from industrial to commercial. Your main mission is to contribute to shortened solution lead-time on incidents and IT orders. You are also part of improving existing flows in order to gain more speed and flexibility within our deliveries.

You bring enthusiasm, energy, have the skill to understand people's needs and give that little extra effort to support our end users. Furthermore, you have he to challenge existing ways of working and being creative in how you test these ideas.

Your Profile

  • You have more than 5 years of work experience of level 2 support in the area of End User Support
  • You have experience from Customer Support work (level 1)
  • You are able to work on-duty on a scheduled basis (normally every 5th week)
  • You have a driving license for cars (B)
  • You master Swedish and English fluently in both speaking and writing. This is key since you will have contact with Scania users both in Sweden and globally.
  • You are service-minded, perceptive, humble and enjoying solving problems.
  • You are structured and have the ability to plan your time.
  • Prerequisites to be successful in this role are that you are prestigeless, communicative and have a good social ability.
  • You have experience from multiple of the following areas: Client hardware, WTS, Print, Windows, MAC, Network/Wi-Fi, Office and Order Support.

This role is a high security classed role and therefore require some mandatory attributes:

  • Taking permanent employment at Scania is required for this role. (No consultant contracts are allowed).
  • An approved background check performed through Scania HR department.
