Lead Backend Developer

Here at Normative we’re automating the sustainability reporting of big companies, providing stakeholders with crucial information and giving companies the incentives and the guidance required to drastically reduce their environmental footprint. We’ve been recognised by Norrsken Foundation as one of the most impactful startups in the Nordics, and over the last year we’ve had a revenue growth of >70%, showcasing our future potential to help all major corporations with their sustainability reporting. After closing a big investment round, we’re now looking for an ambitious backend developer to help take us to the next phase in our adventure! 

You will integrate with existing ERP solutions & Trade shift and work with the following core technologies: 

• TypeScript
• Node.js
• Python
• MongoDB
• Redis

Additionally you may also work with both data science and devops depending on interest.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has both prior experience and knowledge with:

• Backend development.
• Our core technologies mentioned above, especially Node.js and MongoDB.
• ETL- and ERP-systems.
• Building scalable calculation models.
• Building data lakes & warehouse solutions.
• Writing high quality code

Additionally our ideal candidate would be someone who:

• Has a willingness to learn on the job, acquiring new skills in everything from different new systems to the latest environmental guidelines.
• Cares about making a real contribution towards a sustainable future.
• Passion for high quality code
