As our front-end developer you’ll be vital in helping evolve our digital customer touch points on the ground and in the air to make travel smoother. Your weekday

As our front-end developer, you will be developing our user interface and work closely with our digital product owners, back-end developers, designers and user experience experts taking the designs into fully working quality solutions. Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying and monitoring systems exploring Scandinavian and some European sites. Exciting parts of your day will be working on coherent usability of our digital sites and explore new technology to improve our code and processes.

We believe in team work. For us, this means working closely with our cross-functional teams all through the development process in Stockholm, but also collaborate with our team located off-shore.

You are

Clean code that can be tested comes natural to you, as does the understanding of page performance, SEO and their impact on conversion rates. Your day will consist of collaborating with cross-functional teams, therefore we believe that you have experience with software development and an interest in UX design.

We believe in software craftsmanship, learning and having fun while creating. We love to travel and hope that you share our passion. To succeed at SAS, you are curious, communicative and passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. You have deep knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and either React.js or Angular.

Do we fit you?

SAS IT & Digital Innovation is responsible for all IT within Scandinavian Airlines. The business unit Operations Planning IT within SAS IT & Digital Innovation is responsible for providing all IT services necessary to support the end-to-end planning and execution processes and business departments within SAS Operations. It includes both network planning and planning of crew and ground personnel. The organization has around 100 employees and is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, just outside Stockholm city. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. There’s a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
