Advisa is looking for a driven and analytical Back-end/Dev-ops developer who wants a key role in a fast growing tech company operating in a transforming market. As a Back-end/Dev-ops developer you’ll have a significant influence on the company's technical platforms and work with cutting-edge technology to build applications that will be used by hundreds of thousands of customers.

As Back-end/Dev-ops developer you’ll:

  • Work in close collaboration with our business development department to build a scalable system that will help hundreds of thousands Swedes to lower their interest rates
  • Together with a dedicated team of highly skilled developers be responsible for maintaining and develop all parts of a complex service-oriented system
  • Be fully responsible for our server setup and uptime
  • Work with a large arsenal of open source and cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, Angular.js, MySQL, Docker, RabbitMQ and Redis.

Skills & Requirements


  • You have a get-things-done mentality and enjoy working hard to reach challenging goals
  • Really good understanding of the Linux ecosystem and experience with server management
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet (we use Ansible)
  • Experience with Docker and how to use it in the context of Node.js and micro-services
  • Experience with high availability solutions (load balancing, HAProxy…)


  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and even better, with deploying a cluster of machines running services with Docker on AWS
  • Experience with service discovery tools like Consul, Etcd or regular DNS (SRV records)
  • Knowledge of either CoffeeScript or LiveScript
  • Testing experience with Mocha, Karma, etc
  • Built systems for financial services and/or CRM-systems
