Back-end Developer In Esports

We are looking for an amazing Back-End Developer that wants to dive-into the exciting world of esports and most importantly that wants to join a great team in one of the most beautiful and tech-intense cities in the world.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working and communicating with a team. The right candidate must be confident enough to take lead on their assigned task(s) and be able to collect feedback and resolve issues together with the front end team. The candidate must also be able to identify issues and bring them up within the team and make decisions in situations that require so.

The developer we are looking for is someone who takes pride in their work and always looks for the best possible solution to a task or problem. You should also be excited about planning and creating functions for both new and existing products.

Main requirements

• Academic background
• 2+ years of full time development
• PHP (Laravel platform)
• MySQL
• Experience with Nginx and Linux enviroments
• Experience building and optimizing REST APIs
• Practical experiance with caching (preferably Varnish)
• Experience with OAuth implementation and integrations
• Good spoken and written English skills

• An interest for esports, this is always the topic of discussion over lunch or a beer!

• Pratical experience in parsing and analysing large quantities of data
