About the job

This Product Owner within digital hotel experience will be the driving force of innovation across the digital customer journey with focus on the in-stay experience.

You will:

  • Work as Product Owner for digital development initiatives, focus on the in-stay experience
  • Govern objectives, requirements and status of running initiatives
  • Run and coordinate tests and POCs, as well as full implementations of initiatives
  • Collaborate with external partners to deliver on digital solutions
  • Work together with UX and AD and have a close collaboration with the web and app product owners, as well as other departments within Scandic
  • Be the champion to ensure a seamless Scandic customer experience and drive digital innovation
  • Use Scandic’s Customer Journey map in your work and ensure it is updated and relevant

You have:

  • A passion for the customer and digital development!
  • Both a strategic mind to state a clear vision, and a strong drive to actually make it happen
  • Several years of experience as a PO and experience of working with external suppliers.
  • Preferably worked with digiphysical experiences
  • Experience within UX, service design and user-centric development
  • Great collaboration, organizational and communication skills
  • Effortless communication skills in English, you’ll be working in international teams
  • Experience of agile processes and working with large corporations


Full time. Place: Scandic Headquarter at Norrtull, Sveavägen 167. Access: Immediately within possible notice period. Applications will be processed continuously.

The Role:

The role will own the digital experiences that takes on when the customer arrives and stays within one of Scandic’s hotels and work to ensure a seamless flow between the different digital services. For example, in-room entertainment, online check-in, mobile key and Wi-Fi services will be under your protection.

You will be a pro in identifying customer needs, understand and map their journey, and implement the best solutions. You will plan, test, implement and run different digital ideas with the goal of maximizing our customers’ in-stay experience.

You’ll be part of the Digital and Innovation team together with UX designers and product owners for the web and native app. The team is placed within the Brand & Guest Journey department that cover communication strategies, interior design, hotel concepts and product development. You will also collaborate extensively with other Scandic teams; IT, Ecommerce & Marketing, Revenue & Distribution, Loyalty, the Hotels and external collaboration partners. You will be reporting to the Digital & Innovation Manager.
