Operations Technician Linux/unix and Windows

We are now searching for our new hybrid talent to take on the role as our new Operations technician within Linux/Unix and Windows, split of 60/40 %. You will be located at our office in Stockholm, Sveavägen 159 where you will belong to the Operations Center department - a dream team that consists of a great mixture of more junior and senior competencies with a shared interest for IT/Tech.

Job duties

As Operations center technician you will perform activities in application management for Basefarms customers. Your main task is to handle the daily operations of all systems, internally as well as externally.

Among other tasks, you will:

• Work with installation and upgrades of patches and also with configuration changes
• Work with application solutions and webservers on different platforms
• Work with troubleshooting: perform failure analysis to find the underlying cause and/or give suggestions on a temporary solution
• Work with monitoring and maintenance of systems, e.g. archive and clean up.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• A relevant tertiary education, either from the university/college or from a KY-education.
• Alternative you already have some years of work experience within this area.
• Sound knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows
• Sound knowledge of Scripting languages such as PowerShell, BASH and Python
• Fluency in Swedish and English
