Head of Ecommerce

We need you to step in and make direct sales an integrated part of our business. In other words, we’re looking for a Head of E-commerce.

When brainstorming about the perfect one for the job, we pictured an entrepreneurial soul who is comfortable working strategically, as well as with more hands-on tasks. We’re looking for someone who can get their hands dirty with everything from logistics to ERP-integrations, make packaging and shipping decisions, analyse data and understand the magic of conversion funnels and online ROIs. Also, we need this person to be able to create fantastic customer service experiences in a true Klättermusen way, handle translations and content creation – and at the same time be a team leader responsible of breaking new ground in e-commerce. Yes, we are asking for a lot, but we think this person is out there somewhere. Maybe it’s you?

THE JOB:

Running the overall E-commerce in line with the Klättermusen philosophy, the roll-out of it and defining what all of this is about.

• Taking charge of delivering best in class operations, customer acquisition, conversion and retention with P&L responsibility.
• Working with all our departments in order to make E-commerce a baked-in part of our business.
• Manage online campaigns and merchandising on our website.
• Run our customer acquisition programs (such as SEM, SEO, Display etc) and retention programs (email programs, for example) together with our growth consultants, with a hands-on approach.
• Measure, analyse and report
• Make sure that our E-commerce operations work together with other channels and functions in the best way possible, especially in collaboration with the brand team.
• Handle all the partners related to our E-commerce (that would be technology providers, payment providers, design agency and third party logistics providers etc).

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• A minimum of 3-5 years working with E-commerce.
• Experience of start-up businesses.
• Experience from working internationally.
• Preferably, you like to spend time in a tent, on a mountain, in hiking boots or hanging off an icefall

Competence:

• Commercial awareness and business understanding
• Strong analytical skills
• General brand and marketing competence
• Good ability to collaborate, inspire and be part of creating a great working culture
• Fluent in English
