Head of Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning

Stena Line is now looking for a Head of Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning to help us realise our mission statement, to be the world's first cognitive ferry operator by 2021.

We are looking for someone who is this new type of leader that will challenge every digital initiative as well as every process, very often create new processes that better fit the data-driven operational excellence Stena Line is aiming for. We want leaders that makes sure they work with A-List players and serve them with the things they need to get the job done!

For us, Artificial Intelligence is the new electricity so we view it as a foundation for success moving forward.

We offer possibly the greatest challenge in your career as well as a working environment that is not focused on making sure everyone clocks in at 8 am. We rather chase goals together! Not hours!

So, if this is you:

• Would be cool if you have a PhD or two and great experience with data science and machine learning.
• Management leading skills (new kind of "leading with context, not control" type of skills).
• Tech nerd that loves reading up on the new stuff.
• Understand artificial intelligence and how to derive business value from it. It's important to be focused on building solutions and services that yields value to the business at an early stage.
• You believe that the only way to success is failing faster than everyone else.
• Developer background. You should understand technology and preferably have worked as a developer, enough to understand how an API works or have ideas about data flows.
• Making shit happen and not easily put of just because "something is impossible". The impossible simply takes longer time to achieve.
