Performance test engineer

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our new team in Stockholm, working cross studios with international offices to provide testing across our industry-leading product. This role will work extensively with our different offices and as part of our internal L&P team, but also with our architects, managers and the product teams.

Tasks cover designing and writing tests, running and analysing test runs, troubleshooting our system, setting up and configuring tools to support the testing as well as the monitoring. The role will also improve our internal L&P testing, spread knowledge about the limitations of our system as well as support our product teams in their team specific testing.

• Minimum 2 year of professional work experience in a Load & Performance Testing role
• Knowledge of industry performance standards, performance bottlenecks
• Sound theoretical knowledge of systems and architecture, Queuing Theory and networking
• Programming/scripting experience (C#, Bash, Ruby, Erlang/Elixir)
• Experience of various operating systems to include Windows & Unix
• Database knowledge to include SQL and Postgres
• Good English skills, oral and written

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of data messaging theory to include tools such as Rabbit and Kafka
• Previous experience with any of the following monitoring technologies: Grafana, Splunk, Nagios, ELK
