We work with large media clients globally and scaling our platform to handle tens of thousands of req/s with zero downtime, providing real time reports and forecasts based on billions of log rows and building a simple and intuitive UI requires that we invest heavily in QA activities and processes to ensure a quality of the highest standard. In light of this, we are currently looking to extend the QA team with a skilled QA Engineer.

As a QA Engineer you will be part of a scrum team with focus on feature development. You will primarily be responsible for making sure that team deliverables are fully covered by QA activities and that it passes all criteria for releasing.

The role is broad and includes activities that span the full lifecycle of features from specification to production. Apart from defining and executing tests, the day to day activities will include contributing to automated test infrastructure by writing tests and improving the test framework, monitoring incoming bug reports and grooming the bug backlog, reviewing code, managing releases and performing risk based test analyses. You will work with engineers in cross-functional development teams across the organisation as well as together with the other QA engineers.

We practice Agile development with proper Scrum (or in some cases Kanban) and rely on practices such as TDD, code reviews, exploratory testing, continuous integration pipelines and autonomous teams performing frequent releases. We constantly evaluate ourselves and our processes, try to find better ways of doing things and help each other improve. We're absolutely convinced that in order to be really good at something, you need to truly enjoy doing it. Who we're looking for

Most importantly, you are a skilled QA engineer with a focus on and strong interest in agile testing methodologies. We code mostly in Java, Scala, Python and use frameworks such as Git, Python/Nose, ScalaTest, Maven and Jenkins. Solid programming skills are expected and experience of one or more of these is no doubt a bonus, however the kind of person we are looking for is someone who quickly and easily picks up new languages and frameworks.

Furthermore we insist that you have a passion for what you do and a hunger for learning new things. We constantly evaluate and try to better ourselves. We expect you to do the same and - just as important - help others improve as well.

All meetings and written communications are in English. Swedish is not a requirement.
