You will be a key player of our fast growing team. You will have the opportunity to develop great solutions that will help the environment and at the same time use the latest technologies. Your main responsibility is to lead the development for one of our product areas, Access control for harbors. You will ensure that the development team in India deliver great products with quality and speed. You will act as the product owner and gather demands from the business and work with the development team in India to deliver features with great quality. You also need to ensure that the team continuously improve by doing code reviews, doing tech talks and so on. In order to be successful, you probably has a background as a java developer and being used working with a remote development team.
You will report to the Team lead for the Platform team that is based in Stockholm. Some travel will be required both to India and countries within Europe.
You are a multi-skilled, solution oriented person with a positive can-do attitude. You are capable of working both with developers and customers in different countries in a fast changing environment. In our work things can change fast, so you are also flexible to changes in priorities.
You have experience from Java development and electronics and are used to write specifications/user stories for a development team. You have a good understanding of things such as network, firewalls, xml, SOAP, webservices, databases (preferably Cassandra), windows and Linux. It is also very positive if you have experience from automated testing, preferably of testing including hardware.
You have an applicable university level education. You speak and write fluent English (Swedish is not required).
