We are Division X. Here to spearhead Telia Company's ambition to create a New Generation Telco by combining corporate power with a start-up attitude. And you could be part of it, working on a project among a committed and talented group of people on ideas that just might change the world.
The projects we propose shall be used for performing a Master of Science Degree project, at The Royal Institute of Technology, KTH. The duration of the project is twenty weeks and corresponds to advanced level of 30 university credits. The project may be started in early spring or according to agreement.
You shall be studying at KTH, towards a Master of Science Degree in Information and Communication Technology or comparable line of study. We believe that you follow the profiles of Communication Systems, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering of Distributed Systems or equivalent.
In Division X we propose the following degree projects:
Transform telco data into actionable insights: As the major telecom operator in Nordics and Baltics, Telia has the unique asset of a massive amount of data from the networks. There is a large potential to leverage the data in urban planning, public transportation, tourism, etc. In this thesis project, you will work with transforming telco data into actionable insights for enterprises and public sectors.
Enable smart sustainable cities with IoT: IoT creates unique opportunities for cities to become smarter and more sustainable. Telia has geared up to become a platform player and accelerate the digitalization journey for enterprises and public sectors. In this thesis project, you will work with enabling smart and sustainable cities with IoT.
