Software developer Linux/Unix

Vizrt provides real-time 3D graphics, studio automation, sports analysis and asset management tools for the broadcast industry. This includes interactive and virtual solutions, animations, maps, weather, video editing and compositing tools.

Our technology comes from more than 15 years of experience in the MAM industry and is used in more than 200 installations worldwide. Through what we create we make the work days better for TV anchors, journalists, editors, producers, operators, video editors and graphics artists around the world.

To our Transfer Team (Scheduling, Transferring, Transcoding, Publishing) we are looking for an experienced software developer.

We give you the possibility to make an impact on our development process and deliver result based on an agile approach. We want you to automate repeating processes and to see the big picture before drilling into details.

Qualifications

Required:

Several years of experience in object-oriented programming and with design patterns
Good experience within Linux/Unix work environments
Experience with programming in script languages and server-side application development
Fluency in English, both oral and written

Bonus:

Experience in continuous software development

Perl and/or Python

Experience in working with relational databases

This position requires strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset and you need to have the right attitude. You are creative, eager to learn and a teamplayer.
