Cyber Security Expert

This is a great opportunity to help form the new software security group and lead Axis into developing secure software. You will be leading the cyber security work together with your colleagues in the software security group and you will be a key contributor for a setting a high standard of the secure software within Axis. Your main responsibilities will be to setup guidelines and to educate and mentor Axis engineering teams to promote secure coding and threat analysis.

You have experience from similar assignments before. You live and breathe security and are eager to mentor and train your peers. You should be able to write your own code, but your main focus is to teach Axis engineers to write secure code and do threat analysis. You are interested in educating others and always keep yourself updated in the field. You are able and willing to interact with management on all levels.

Identify and develop secure coding standards, tools and practices to improve security in software development.

• You will promote secure coding practices across engineering teams.
• Participate in the architectural design of critical software components.
• Architectural risk analysis.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Investigate trends, methods and threats within the cyber security domain.
• Identify and develop requirements to improve vulnerability analysis and testing in software development.
