The Manufacturing Engineering group in Danderyd R&D consists of 16 engineers responsible for developing production test, automation and robot systems used in our highly advanced in-house production.
The mission for the group is to design and develop production, calibration, measurement and verification equipment to make it possible to manufacture Trimble's high technology optomechanical instruments. Our products are very complex and have high demands on function and quality. Furthermore, the group is responsible to reach production efficiency and reliability with tools such as DFA/DFM and Demand Flow Technology (DFT).
We are also planning to increase the use of automation and robot systems in production. For this responsibility, we need specialists in software development, mechanical and optics design, image analysis and laser knowledge combined with competence in manufacturing technology.
