Euroclear Sweden needs to develop its IT services to meet new and changing customer demands and new regulations in the financial area. We will also aim to modernize older system parts by implementing modern standard software packages. In order to do this, we are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen our IT Department and to take responsibility for documenting business requirements and functional specifications for our IT systems.

Your responsibilities

Lead requirement definition together with business stakeholders for new IT projects and existing IT systems to build a complete functional scope
Complement business requirements with data models, process and functional flows (use cases) and diagrams where needed, and validate with relevant stakeholders
Communicate and collaborate with IT providers to further detail and explain business requirements
Communicate with business stakeholders on implications and limitations by translating technical specifications and issues into functional impacts
Verify solution designs and functional specifications on their ability to meet the business requirements
Represent business stakeholders during the execution of IT projects
Validate completeness of user acceptance test scenarios

Your profile

University degree or equivalent from experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business analysis role, preferably from in an international environment
Experience in and knowledge of the financial industry and the securities post trade industry
Strong analytical skills
Able to synthesize information for both business and IT audiences
Experience of working with outsourcing providers, particularly with offshore providers
Enthusiasm and influence to make things happen in a coordinated way
Technical skills sufficient to understand basic system dependencies
A flexible attitude with the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent written and oral communication skills: fluency in English required
