Burt is now looking for
Two Business Development Representatives based in Stockholm or Gothenburg that wants to make the journey with us from startup to dominating our niche globally. As BDR you will assist our Account Executive team (currently the CEO and CTO) with lead generation and sales execution of our Enterprise solutions. It's a new role within the company, so you will be expected to help develop it from scratch, with great opportunity to influence your day to day activities.
Research target companies/segments to identify potential leads, and then perform cold outreach with the goal of generating Sales Qualified Leads to hand over to our Account Executive team. As such you need to learn our industry and understand the value Burt provides.
You are a social and driven person, passionate about meeting and creating new business relations. Since we do enterprise sales (we aim at initial order value of 150 000 USD annually or above), the research will be extensive and outreach focus on quality over quantity.
We expect you to
Help Account Executives meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets, develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans. You need to quickly understand and present Burt's value proposition and inspire prospect interest, maintain and develop relationships with potential customer organizations and gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
Your primary goal is to develop and qualify leads through out-bound cold-calling/emailing and expansion of existing relationships in co-operation with Key Account Managers. To gather business intelligence and determine interest levels on each qualified lead and escalate accordingly.
Highly self-motivated, structured and able to work with little direct supervision. We expect you to communicate with excellent oral and written skills in English and Swedish. You are driven and solution focused, able to reach a goal even when the path is unknown and thrive in an entrepreneurial setting. You enjoy working hard, aiming to exceed goals while having fun in the process.
We think you probably have a BSc or MSc degree within business, marketing, innovation or similar and could be newly graduated or been working for one year.
And a bonus would be
Previous experience or personal interest in the Media industry, or Software as a Service sales is appreciated, as is fluent German language skills and previous startup experience.
