Test coordinator vehicle testing

Electrification is in an exciting and challenging phase where the demand for electrified vehicles increases rapidly. We are now looking for a motivated vehicle test engineer to strengthen our test team with a coordinating role.

About

Our team, Battery pack and vehicle testing, is responsible for testing the energy storage on the scale from complete packs to full vehicle. We plan, execute tests and analyze results in order to ensure that the batteries fulfills the requirements connected to the performance and life targets we need to achieve to be a leader within e-mobility for commercial vehicles. We are responsible for coordinating all testing on this level but we execute performance, safety and functional tests ourselves.

Your profile

You have a good knowledge about Scania product development, our products and our modular program. You have a wide network contacts within R&D and have experience of complete vehicle testing vehicle testing such as:

• Summer and Winter test
• Chassis dyno test
• OTI or field test
• Reference group tests
• Embedded systems related tasks such as Integration and safety tests

It is an strong advantage if you have:

• C driver’s license (CE or D is meriting)
• Logistics work experience
• Work experience from embedded development

Your tasks

Networking and to be observant are key strengths! You will participate in several cross functional meetings and forums. You will have several contacts points within R&D to coordinate topics regarding test vehicles , vehicle specification and status of them. Also to coordinate and vehicle test activities such as test plans and vehicle preparations will require synchronization activities among several departments.

Vehicle coordination

• Create and present test vehicle prognosis. This in order to ensure that the organization has right resources available at the right time.
• Monitor test vehicle specifications to ensure that the vehicles specs align with the need of the department, and that the total fleet of test vehicles offers an adequate coverage of test cases.

Test coordination

• Communicate vehicle test result and property compliance to project object leaders
• Coordination activities for climate testing. both Summer and Winter but also Chassis dyno test on site.
• Collection of test needs and prepare test plans
• Collect project OTI test need on department level and follow up on test progress.
• Take part in the coordination’s of OTI and monitor that battery development requirements are covered and not compromised.
• Follow up on relevant KPI’s.
• Coordinate battery follow up test at HB4 with ongoing OTI’s and Clinics
