Section for Chassis layout and installation (RTL) is now looking for a new manager for the RTLS group. The section is responsible for installation and composition of Scania truck chassis and today we have approximately 90 engineers working together to solve the construction puzzle for our future vehicles. Together we continuously develop new component series but also develop and create completely new chassis layouts, for example; electrical vehicles. Our section contains seven groups – one calculation and six design groups.
RTLS – where you will be the group manager is responsible for the Air intake system, SCR System installations and a number of engine-related components on our chassis. In the near future, the focus will be on the FPP-introduction but gradually, the focus will shift to the electrification development flow to help the section in the challenges we have there.
As the group manager you will lead the work within your group and secure all deliveries, sometimes also from the section. You will be responsible for your team members development and to ensure they love going to work and always deliver on top.
Your task will be to give them the right conditions and to support them in technical and assignment-related decisions in their daily work, short and long term.
Commitment and participation in the management group is of course also included. Here, the focus will be on leading the section in the journey of change. The industry is changing and R&D is facing new challenges and must enable more flexible methods for achieving Scania's vision – driving the shift to more sustainable transport solutions.
We are looking for a leader with several years of experience in technical development. You are a team player, a structured, analytical and driven visionary who strives for an open, supportive and inclusive leadership.
You like to create and help your employees to achieve set goals on time without affecting the quality. You support your staff and look after the development of their career.
You should have a technical academic background and be fluent in English. Experience from design group and agile working is meritorious.
