The main areas of responsibilities
SAS is looking for a UX Designer to research, strategize and wireframe compelling user interfaces and experiences aiming to digitalize the entire travel journey. The right candidate stays abreast of changing research and technologies and can look at products and features from all angles to meet the demands of different end-users. You must be creative, focused, self-motivated, and a resourceful problem-solver. Our ideal candidate is one that can thrive in a fast-moving, creative environment.
The main tasks
Lead discovery meetings with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand business requirements
Review existing analytics to make informed data-driven recommendations for features and interface design
Work with the Digital Product Owner team to understand short and long-term requirements
Research competitors, feature sets and technologies to support usability recommendations
Develop and maintain project documentation including personas, user stories, and user paths
Architect and document user interaction solutions through rapid prototyping and responsive/interactive wireframes
Think through and design for different page states (ie profile blank/filled out) and conditions (logged in/out)
Present to internal and external stakeholders
Work with visual designer to translate wireframes into graphic designs that visually communicate priorities, user paths, etc.
Work the development to clarify specifications
Maintain wireframes and documentation throughout project, elaborating and iterating as needed to meet changing priorities, user feedback, etc.
Validate designs with usability testing and make recommendations for constant improvement
Qualifications and Experiences
1-3 years of experience developing wireframes for mobile and website applications
1+ years of experience in mobile first development methodologies and/or knowledge of responsiveness techniques
Good knowledge of wireframing programs and rapid prototyping tools
Degree in interaction design or equivalent experience
You must have strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and meet commitments with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholder groups including clients, developers and executive management
You must submit your portfolio including work samples outlining business need and proposed solution
