At Resurs Bank, we’re looking for a Collections Director to steer our Nordic operations toward sustainable, data-driven growth.

As the Collections Director for Resurs Bank in the Nordic region, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall collections strategy, ensuring effective processes, and delivering key performance targets. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead a talented team of collections professionals across several markets, driving continuous improvement and a positive, customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the collections roadmap, aligning with the broader business strategy and regulatory requirements in each Nordic market.
• Guide and mentor the collections teams, promoting a high-performance culture, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive process optimization, implement best-in-class tools, and oversee performance metrics to enhance collections efficiency and deliver strong financial results.
• Ensure the highest levels of regulatory compliance and risk management across all collection activities in multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, external agencies) to ensure a holistic, customer-centric approach to debt recovery.
• Leverage data insights to refine strategies, forecast trends, and drive continuous improvement in collection effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

On a personal level

• A track record of successfully leading and motivating teams within collections, credit risk, or a related financial services function.
• Experience shaping and executing a collections or credit risk strategy at the regional or group level.
• Familiarity with Nordic financial regulations and best practices in credit management and data protection.
• Adept at using KPIs, data analytics, and reporting to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial products, risk management, and profitability drivers within the banking industry.
• Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
