Product Information Management Specialist

What you’ll do:

As our PIM Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the organisation's Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will take ownership of the processes surrounding product information, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support efficient product data syndication to retailers, aiming to improve sales, streamline operations, and continuously enhance processes through high-quality product data.

Product Information Management

• Oversee the organisation's PIM system, including data entry, maintenance, governance, and syndication to retail platforms, with a focus on both improving sales and optimizing internal operations.
• Take ownership of the entire product information process, ensuring its seamless execution, from data entry to final syndication.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product information across all platforms, driving both sales performance and process efficiency.
• Develop strategies to improve data quality, standardisation, taxonomy, and the overall presentation of product information, ensuring it enhances both external product visibility and internal workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and establish clear guidelines for product information management and process ownership.
• Develop a roadmap for PIM system enhancements, ensuring alignment with both business goals and process optimization objectives.
• Manage relationships with PIM vendors, negotiating contracts, monitoring service levels, and ensuring the organisation's needs are met.
• Lead the onboarding process for new products, coordinating with teams to gather required data, ensuring accurate entry, and facilitating integration with other systems to enhance both sales potential and operational efficiency.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

• Proven experience in product information management with a strong focus on process ownership and improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, particularly in improving both retail performance and internal processes.
• Experience in process optimisation, specifically in retail syndication and driving operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and overseeing end-to-end processes effectively.
