Penetration tester

Are you passionate about offensive security and empowering teams to build secure systems? We believe you're a penetration tester who thrives in red and purple team environments, has a strong grasp of vulnerability management, and enjoys collaborating with developers to raise security awareness. In this role, you'll uncover hidden threats, simulate real-world attacks, and help development teams understand and mitigate risks focusing on SDLC.

What you'll do

• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities using tools and frameworks like CVSS, OWASP, and NVD
• Conduct penetration tests on applications, infrastructure, in cloud environments
• Participate in purple team exercises to validate and enhance detection and response capabilities
• Raise awareness of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities
• Deliver security walkthroughs for engineering teams
• Assist in threat hunting using behavioral analytics, threat intelligence, and anomaly detection
• Document findings and provide actionable remediation guidance
• Perform vulnerability assessment
• Arrange internal CTFs and other security training
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and adversary tactics e.g. MITRE ATT&CK
  
  

On a personal level

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have

• Proven experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking
• Solid knowledge of vulnerability management, processes and tools
• Experience with purple team engagements and detection engineering
• Ability to communicate technical risks to developers and non-security stakeholders
• Strong understanding of threat hunting methodologies and adversary emulation
• Hands-on with tools for threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring
• Familiarity with scripting and automation
• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, CRTP, or CTIA
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and reporting skills
