If so, the role of Nominated Person Crew Training (NPCT) at SAS might be the perfect fit for you! In this position, you will play a central role in managing and supervising crew training, ensuring that all Flight and Cabin Crew are fully prepared to deliver safe and efficient operations.
In this exciting and high-impact role, you will be delegated the authority and responsibility for the management and supervision of all crew training at SAS. You will:
You will be the nominated person (NP) in accordance with ORO.GEN.210(b), reporting directly to the VD/Accountable Manager.
The Team
You will join the SAS Flight Operations organization and collaborate with a dedicated group of instructors, training professionals, and operational leaders. Our team values safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and we work together to ensure training excellence and compliance across all crew categories.
A background as a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and Type Rating Examiner (TRE), with practical experience applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of EASA regulations and associated requirements.
Familiarity with Compliance Monitoring, Safety Management, and Security Management Systems.
At least five years of relevant work experience, of which two should be within the aeronautical industry in a comparable role.
Demonstrated management experience in a similar organization.
A leader with high integrity, loyalty, and respect.
Proactive, driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Someone who leads by example and inspires others through a “walk the talk” approach.
Skilled at building strong, trustful relationships with key stakeholders and gaining buy-in for change.
Goal-oriented and pragmatic, yet reflective and open to new ideas, technologies, and approaches.

Position: Full-time (100%), starting with a six-month probation period.
Location: One of our main bases (STO/CPH/OSL). The role requires presence in Stockholm (Arlanda and Frösundavik) at least two days per week on average.
