Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in reporting on the credit risk in our consumer lending portfolio and providing suggestions to improve its quality. You will proactively analyze the consumer lending portfolio behavior, manage decision engines, and support the Credit function with analytics and scenario tests. Additionally, you will mentor Junior Analysts and contribute to initiatives that enhance our credit risk strategies in both the Consumer and Business finance areas.

Tasks

• Conduct qualitative analysis of the credit risk in the consumer lending portfolio.
• Proactively analyze the behavior of the consumer lending portfolio.
• Manage the decision engine for all countries.
• Support the Credit function with analytics and scenario tests.
• Mentor Junior Analysts.

Competence

• A university degree in a financial and/or scientific subject, (e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering)
• Strong knowledge and multiple years of experience within financial markets
• Strong knowledge in credit risk and strategies

Working environment and Cooperation

The work is carried out in our modern and welcoming office located in the vibrant neighborhood of Södermalm in Stockholm. The office provides a comfortable and inspiring environment for our employees to thrive. You have the option to work hybrid from the office and remotely. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with teams in Consumer and Business Finance in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, as well as IT and Risk.

Reporting and Mandate

You will report to the Analytics Manager and have the mandate to independently perform the tasks outlined in this job description, policies, or instructions within Avida.
