Do you enjoy technical service challenges and problem solving? Do you want a job where you plan your own work and get to travel a lot? We are looking for a field service engineer to join the Nordic field service engineer team. At bioMérieux, you will work with new and exciting technology and the company is a market leader in clinical microbiology.
The role
The basic activities include IT/Networking administration at customer sites, installation and maintenance of systems, as well as reporting in administrative systems. During your first year, you will get a lot of training and education about the products and opportunity to visit other bioMérieux facilities globally. You will be assigned for specific trainings in Corporate training facilities and being introduced by Senior Field Service Engineers. You will be part of a team of experienced, engaged and friendly colleagues who work in cooperation to give bioMérieux customers the best products, solutions and services. You will report directly to the Nordic Field Service Manager in Finland and given the trust and accountability to plan and work very free and independently. You will be based in your own home office in Southern Sweden or Denmark with responsibility to primarily travel and support Sweden / Denmark installed base collaboration with local Customer Service and secondary support other Nordic countries.
Your profile
We believe that you have previous experience from hands-on technical service work and big technical interest. It is an advantage if you have been travelling in work before, but it is not a requirement. To be successful in this role, we believe that you need to be a self-motivated, service minded, analytical and communicative person with can-do mentality who enjoys helping others. Fluent communication skills in Swedish or Danish and English are required, other Nordic language skills is a merit. Driving license is mandatory (company car will be provided).
