Infrastructure Architect

Role description

You will ensure that all systems are working at optimal levels and support the development of new technologies and system requirements. You will work together with our Enterprise Architect and other Architects to set the architectural roadmap. As the Infrastructure Architect, you will be a member of the Architecture Board together with our Enterprise Architect and Head of Product Management.

You will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance/support and provide technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure, hardware, hosting services and network areas.

Additional responsibilities:

• Advise on strategic architecture decisions
• Design and review infrastructure solutions
• Manage infrastructure projects
• Infrastructure lifecycle management
• Set directions for infrastructure components
• Lead/participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
• Responsible for the Infrastructure Community of Practice

Who are you

We are looking for a person that enjoys solving problems, preferably together with others. You interact with various stakeholders within and outside the organization and therefore, it is crucial that you have great communications skills. You are able to prioritize since we are working with many different tasks and products. In addition, you adapt quickly to new ways of working with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude and inspire your surroundings to follow. You would probably describe yourself as organized, structured and analytical. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if you were familiar with agile working methods.

Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of Cloud strategy (public-, private-, hybrid- and multicloud)
• In depth knowledge of infrastructure components such as networks, firewalls, dns, and storage
• In depth knowledge about Infrastructure security
• Experience with PaaS architecture, including commercial offerings and the components necessary to implement containerized workloads
• Knowledge of IaaS strategies for Hybrid Cloud scenarios
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration of infrastructure code
