As a part of a newly established Sourcing Category: Integrated IT Solutions, we are looking for a Category Manager, or as we call it at IKEA, Category Segment Leader. The Category consists of two major segments within System Integration & Application Management Services and Application Platform areas.

About the job

As a Category manager, or as we called it at IKEA, Category Segment Leader, you will take part to the development of the category strategies and lead the development and implementation of the category segment plan for the category based on the purchase development process. You will actively monitor the external market conditions to find new business opportunities or improve the existing ones for the category segment.

Some of your work duties:

Develop the assigned category segment and strive towards constant improvement.
Create a solid network with key stakeholders and ensure strong stakeholder relationship management and alignment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of long business plan to secure a growing IKEA.

Does this sound interesting?

We are looking for a candidate with:

A minimum of 3-5 years' experience from supply chain or similar experience.
Solid knowledge about category management, strategic sourcing and vendor management.
Proven ability to lead complex negotiations with major IT suppliers.
A relevant university degree or corresponding knowledge.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
