We are looking for a Product Requirement Engineer to our Bed and Bath textiles range that can translate customer’s expectations into technical requirements. You will be responsible to identify and develop product requirements that will make our products sustainable, safe, sellable on all our markets and loved by our customer.
As Product Requirement Engineer you will be part of product development team as the requirement specialist. You will also create strong relationship with Requirement development department and as well as engineers from purchasing organization. You will have good knowledge into IKEA specifications, standards, and test methods relevant for the product areas you are responsible for.
In this assignment your main responsibilities will be:
You have a passion to work with textiles, have University Degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent and a couple of years of experience from textile industry or product development of textile products. In the product requirement engineering field you are regarded as experienced with the ability to lead yourself, take responsibility and drive initiatives from start to finish. You have good analytical skills and high ability to coordinate, lead and inspire others. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and the ability to explain complex matters in an easy way. You are good at creating your own network and at working in teams and making things happen by involving and engaging people.
You have ability to run multiple projects simultaneously effectively, prioritize and delegate.
As English is our official business language you are expected to be fluent, both spoken and written.
Finally, you also know how to apply agile development methods and you are experienced and motivated to work in a rapidly changing environment.
