Power-BI Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power-BI Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Power-BI standards, architecture, and best practices.

The job includes overseeing the development of reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and performance, and guiding our internal teams in best practices and advanced data modeling techniques.

Besides your expertise in Power-BI are we looking for someone who’s communicative and customer oriented with a personal drive to improve our Power-BI practices, standards, and solution architecture but also with a great curiosity in new technology.

A successful Power BI Technical Lead / Architect requires a mix of expertise and soft skills. They should have deep knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and data modeling, and be adept at managing data quality and integration challenges.

Problem-solving skills are essential for addressing technical issues, while strong communication and leadership abilities are crucial for guiding teams and fostering stakeholder buy-in.

The role demands effective management to meet deadlines and budget constraints, and a commitment to ongoing learning to stay updated with the latest BI trends and features.

Additionally, an understanding of data security and strategic thinking is vital for creating scalable, compliant BI solutions. Balancing these technical and interpersonal skills enables overcoming common obstacles in the role and leading successful BI

Functional and Personal Characteristics needed for this role:

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong data modeling and DAX skills.
• Experience with data transformation using Power Query.
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Great care for detail, but also able to see the future and communicate future solutions
• Able to build trust for upcoming change
• Curious about both business drivers but also technology advancements and capabilities
• Ability to lead by doing

This role can be located in Autoliv's facilities in Stockholm, Brasov, Wroclaw, Bangalore or Bangkok.
