The Diagnostics and Software Update VCT (Value Creation Team) has gathered diagnostic competence into one common flow to further extract the possibilities within the area. Our objectives span from developing and deliver world class SW applications used by R&D, Aftermarket and Production to creating harmonized diagnostic standards for the entire Traton group.

Who you are

We are looking for an individual who wants to bring out the best of each individual and team. You like to interact with other people and wants to find a way forward. You like to see things get done and you enjoy creating common goals. Agile SW development, continuous deployment and integration is well known to you.
Both the group and the section consist of members with a wide variety of nationalities and hence is to be fluent in English a strict requirement.
You have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science, or the equivalent experience. In addition, you are expected to have at least 3 years’ experience from working with technical products or software development. Knowledge of the areas of diagnostics / SW applications / connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.

What you will do

Your main tasks will be to coach and lead your team members that work closely together with the rest of the VCT teams. You will need to help them develop their skills and also look into the future to see if new skills are required to meet new demands. The team's products today include tools for testing and defining diagnostic services used in the data driven tool chain to perform software updates of the ECUs in the vehicles.
You will be an important add-on to the existing management team where you will contribute to be a part of the transformation into the VCT Landscape at Traton. You will also be part of forming the section´s strategy for our future. We don´t only strive to build high performing teams in our groups but it is also important to build a strong management team.
