Business Controller Introduction

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation towards a value flow landscape. Our business value flow Goods Transport ICE is acting as a small company within the company and is governed by the Business Value Table. The BVT is a cross functional team with the delegated responsibility to drive the business, taking “end-to-end” responsibility, enable flow optimization, assuring customer focus and accelerate business innovation. This is a way to encapsulate the complexity around our business.

It is important to align on a strategy for the relevant area; “where to play, how to win”. Markets, applications, product and service offer. Is the strategy clear? Do we know where we are heading?

We would like to achieve wise decisions that strengthen our customer´s current and future business – and there buy also ours. This can be done with significantly improved cost and income transparency tied to driving and developing the business. We get that transparency through understanding of the up- and downstream costs and incomes tied to a defined and relevant business segment.

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious person who will support the BVT Head Controller - Goods Transport ICE Solutions, also being responsible for running a possible sub BVT for specific businesses.

Responsibilities

• Create financial transparency with a 360 view enabling decisions based on full business understanding

• Product profitability analysis by application, market, etc

• Full financial analysis for specific deals and business applications

• Return on capital employed analysis, showing to the BVT where we can influence

Your profile

Your profile

• You have a Master’s Degree in Finance or Industrial engineering & management or equivalent

• To be successful in this position, you are a high-end financial team player with experience from Business Control or Financial Control.

• You have a holistic, strategic and problem-solving mindset.

• You possess good product and business knowledge.

• You are strong in communication and strive to build wide contact networks with long term relationships through good communication, structure and trust.
