We are expanding our team within our Global Innovation Center in Vårgårda / Gothenburg and are looking for a product owner.

About the role

As a Product Owner you will enable a small team building the next generation digital products from Autoliv. This is a part of a journey towards a data-driven future, where the product owner role is an opportunity to not only lead a team developing next generation products, but also an opportunity to scale and transform an organization. The job involves directing a development team, as well as interacting with both internal and external stakeholders while continuously looking at how we can work better and bring new products to market quicker and more efficiently.

You will work in a small team responsible for building a toolbox of software components to quickly industrialize ideas. The team will own the bootstrapping of projects, as well as building the frameworks that will be used to accelerate the time from a prototype to a product in the hands of a user.

The team will be a central part in the digital strategy in the global context that is Autoliv. You will work in an international team together with teams from all over the world.

You will work with the seed from which Autoliv will establish an agile way of working at scale. This requires leadership experience from a team management perspective, but also from an organizational transformation point of view. The team is building end-to-end solutions from embedded systems and apps to cloud infrastructure with a large portion of machine learning. A technical understanding of these fields is a plus.

We do this in cross functional teams and in close cooperation with Research who is also located on site. We have unique testing and prototype facilities.
