Join us in maximizing SAS revenue! We’re currently seeking an analytical Team Leader for the EU North and Nordics team within Revenue Management.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading revenue optimization efforts for a route area with passenger revenues of 12 billion SEK. You will closely collaborate with the Head of Revenue Management (responsible for the route area) and be responsible for coaching a team of 10 revenue managers, without direct personnel management responsibilities.

Your responsibilities as a Team Leader include proactively driving and developing Revenue Management's strategy with your team to maximize revenue. This involves strategic, tactical, and commercial responsibilities for your route area. You will conduct recurring analyses and presentations, drive projects within and outside Revenue Management, and streamline daily work processes in consultation with your team, Head, and other Team Leaders. Effective stakeholder management is crucial, as interactions will occur across various departments within the company.

Ideal candidates likely possess an academic background in economics, engineering, statistics, or mathematics, along with extensive experience in analytical roles. Strong analytical skills, commercial understanding, and being comfortable coaching others are essential qualities. Experience in complex analysis, project planning, and driving initiatives is required. Knowledge of the airline industry and revenue optimization principles is advantageous.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Analyzing trends, outcomes, demand, and willingness to pay to increase revenue
- Defining long-term strategies and initiating tactical tests
- Driving, developing, and improving team and department work processes
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Daily coaching of Revenue Managers
- Supporting the Head of Revenue Management in team building and leadership
- Ensuring close collaboration with other teams such as Network, Pricing, Sales, and Marketing to drive business
- Representing Revenue Management in various cross-functional projects, forums, and steering groups
