Normative is now looking for a Head of Engineering Enablement in Stockholm.
At Normative, we're on a mission to accelerate the transition to a net-zero world. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net-zero experts, empowering companies to reduce their carbon footprints.
Our R&D team is now looking to hire an experienced Head of Engineering Enablement to lead our team responsible for Infrastructure, Platform, Security and Quality. As a leader in our Engineering organisation, you will make a real impact on the fight against climate change and play a crucial role in helping companies achieve their NetZero goals and contribute to a sustainable future.
About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and execution of strategies to optimise engineering operations, streamline processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. As a key leader within our R&D department, you will directly contribute to the success and growth of our business.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage a team of approximately 7 employees across infrastructure, operations, quality and security.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance engineering efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust infrastructure ensuring our product is both highly available, resilient and secure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise engineering workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and increase operational resilience.
Define and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for software development, testing, deployment, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Compliance, to align engineering efforts with business objectives and product roadmap.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
What You Bring
Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering environment (preferably in a SaaS company).
Strong technical background with expertise in infrastructure, cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance practices, and security principles.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to balance practical decision-making with innovation, ensuring technology choices align with the business's objectives.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence.

Location
Normative operates on a hybrid remote model with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London. For this role you will be located in our wonderful HQ in Stockholm.
At this time we are not able to offer relocation or VISA support for this position.
